How to: Link a multimedia file between documents.
Solution:
Copy the object from Media Player and paste link in the desired document.
1) Open the 'Media Player':
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
c) Select 'Multimedia' and select 'Media Player'. (The 'Media Player' window appears.)

2) Select the 'Device' menu, and select the appropriate media device to play. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
NOTE: If you are using an audio CD, steps 3) through 5) may not be necessary.
3) In the 'Look in' drop-down list, select the drive where the multimedia file is located.
4) Select the folder where the multimedia file is stored and click 'Open'.
5) Select the file to copy and click 'Open'.

6) (Optional) Set the options for the multimedia object in the destination document:
a) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Options'. (The 'Options' dialog box appears.)

b) Specify the desired options and click 'OK'.
NOTE: To gain an understanding of the options, click the question mark (?) in the title bar of the 'Options' window and select an option. A brief definition appears.
7) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy Object'.
8) Open the document to which to copy the multimedia object.
9) Position the cursor where the object should appear.
10) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste'.
NOTE: To play the multimedia file from within the document, double-click the object.
11) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Exit' to close the 'Media Player' window.
